75% of MBBS students clear fourth year

PESHAWAR: Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar declared MBBS Fourth Professional Annual Examinations 2018 results.

At least 1,607 students of thirteen public and private sector medical colleges of the province appeared in which 1,199 declared successful. The overall passing ratio was 75 per cent.

According to gazette notification issued by KMU Examination Section Mahosh Saleh of Khyber Girls Medical College (KGMC) Hayatabad, Peshawar secured 860 marks to secure first position in the overall results, students of Khyber Medical College (KMC), Peshawar, Habiba Inayat stood at second position and Mian Muhammad at third position obtaining 859 and 853 marks respectively.

In the said examination, the passing ratio of KMC Peshawar was 87%, while that of Bacha Khan Medical College, Mardan was 84%, Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad 79%, KGMC 83%, Saidu Medical College Swat 74%, KMU-Institute of Medical Sciences, Kohat 78%, Bannu Medical College 88%, Rahman Medical College, Hayatabad, 88%, Women Medical College, Abbottabad, 59%, Gomal Medical College DI Khan 90%, Pak International Medical College, Hayatabad, 65%, Jinnah Medical College, Peshawar, 40% and the passing percentage of  Abbottabad International Medical College Abbottabad was only 37%.
