Bungling: 2 food inspectors suspended

On an investigation, the charges against the men proved true and they were dismissed from service.

FAISALABAD: Two food inspectors were suspended by Food Department deputy director Sardar Saifullah Khan Joya on charges of irregularities and malpractice during the current wheat procurement drive in Jhang. The suspended officials include Inspector Mehr Zafar Iqbal Dab, posted at purchase centre Chak no 170-JB, district Jhang and Inspector Sheikh Muhammad Azam, posted at the purchase centre, Shah Jewna in Jhang. Both officials were also issued show cause notices asking them to explain their conduct. On an investigation, the charges against the men proved true and they were dismissed from service.
