KARACHI: Pakistan's beauty industry is roaring. With makeup artists and hair stylists soaring high, showbiz personalities have a plethora of options for their hair and makeup.

Today, we're just going to focus on the hair.  With the New Year here, I've noticed a few artists spruce up their looks with contemporary haircuts and colours. So here's a few that caught my eye:

1. Iqra Aziz

Aziz seems to be plastered all over social media with her new style. The actor's latest pictures show her sporting sleek, long hair paired with arched bangs. From the layered lengths to the golden brown shade, it all works for her.

2. Arsalan Ihsan

This look is my personal favourite and it's not for the obvious reason of colour. Ihsan is rocking a classic side parting. There's no fade or faff; he's kept it simple and there's something quite charming about that.

Nonetheless, although the cut is conventional, the contemporary twist comes with the gray. Not many can pull this icy hue off but it's doing wonders for the model.

3. Saheefa Jabbar Khattak

Khattak has been known for her eccentric hair choices in the past. She was even embroiled in a controversy due to her pixie cut... I know, how lame, right? But that hasn't stopped the model from experimenting and it shouldn't.

Her recent images have her donning a bob with blunt bangs and boy, does it look edgy. This particular style doesn't actually suit most people and you gotta have guts to sport something like this. But we all know Khattak isn't one to shy away from standing out. You go, girl!
