EU to provide 75m euros to Pakistan

The European Union on Friday agreed to provide 75 million euros to Pakistan in a five year collaboration.

KARACHI:

The European Union on Friday agreed on a five year collaboration with Pakistan in which it will provide aid up to 75 million euros a year, increasing aid for Pakistan by 50 percent.


The European Unioin will also increase its investment in Pakistan and provide increased support in the war against terrorism. They will also help with the rehabilitation process Malakand and Fata.


The EU will also host the friends of Pakistan meeting which will be held in Brussels.

Where will it be spend? Who will make sure it does not end up in curropt hands? Who will make sure this will be spent for the betterment of Pakistan, instead of fulfilling the wishes of a few curropt people?
