LAHORE: Wind storm and rains in different parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa claimed the lives of eleven people including two children on Friday.
The roof of a house collapsed in the Shahdara area of Lahore, killing six people.
In Ferozwala area the roof of a house collapsed, killing two children and injuring a child and a woman. In another incident, the wall of a godown collapsed in Hafizabad, killing one man and injuring two.
So far 17 people have been injured in different incidents of roof collapse.
Windstorms and rains have been reported in Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Daska, Kharian, Sheikhupura and Faisalabad in Punjab, and Peshawar and adjoining areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
