Indo-Pak relations have always been tense. With Bollywood films being banned in Pakistan to local artists prohibited to work in India, the issues are ongoing. Nevertheless, that doesn’t seem to stop artists from wanting to work across the border.

Previously, actors Govinda and Irrfan Khan have revealed their want to work in our nation and now comedian Vir Das has said that he would love to do a show in Pakistan. However, the Delhi Belly actor went on to share that he hasn’t actually been offered any work though, reported Business Standard.

Das took to Twitter to express his desire, "I am just going to put this out there because I get asked it a lot. Yes, I'd love to do a show in Pakistan but I have never been offered one. And ironically, I get told to go there every day… mostly by my own people though."

The Badmaash Company star has done numerous stand-up comedy tours across the globe. He has even received positive reviews for his latest Netflix comedy special titled, Losing It and has bagged another project on the online platform.

The project is yet to be titled and would be Das’ third project with the streaming giant. In 2017, he became the first Indian to have his own Netflix comedy show, Abroad Understanding. On the acting front, he will soon start shooting for the sequel of the 2013 zombie comedy film Go Goa Gone.
