QUETTA: Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) spokesman Chaudhry Shabir said on Friday the BAP is united under the leadership of Chief Minister Jam Kamal, adding that along with coalition partners the party has been making efforts to end poverty from Balochistan.

In a statement, the spokesman rejected all rumors regarding rifts among the party and coalition partners. He said the opponents are attempting to spread false propaganda against the BAP as they were afraid of burgeoning popularity of the party.

Shabir said: “The BAP has been working for the progress of Balochistan under the leadership of Balochistan CM Jam Kamal and we have pledged to end poverty and sense of deprivation from the province.”

Victory in by-elections has proved party’s popularity among the people, he added.

He also said the BAP has a clear vision for the development of province and with the support of coalition partners it has been taking measures to uplift and end woes of the province.

“Our party had pledged for a bright future for the people of Balochistan where they have access of education, health and clean drinking water,” Shabir added.
