LAHORE: A number of shelter halls for attendants have been set up at public hospitals in Lahore. Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid inaugurated a shelter hall at Jinnah Hospital on Tuesday. First shelter hall at the Jinnah Hospital was opened on Tuesday and attendants were given mattresses and blankets. Speaking on the occasion, the minister said shelter halls were set up to facilitate attendants and family members of the patients. She added that food will also be provided to the residents. Initially, the shelter hall at the Jinnah Hospital has space for 60 people, she said. However, the facility will add up its capacity and will accommodate up to 200 people, she added.
