Cultural appreciation: Faiz celebrated in Quetta

Over 20 poets from the province recited poetry in an homage to the Marxist poet.

QUETTA: The poetry and cultural legacy of Faiz Ahmed Faiz, legendary Urdu poet and left-wing thinker, was celebrated at an event at the Musa Pak College attended by several Balochistan cabinet members, including Culture Minister Mir Shahnawaz Marri and Interprovincial Coordination Minister Ruqaiya Saeed Hashmi. Over 20 poets from the province recited their own poetry, in addition to some of Faiz’s works, in an homage to the Marxist poet.
