Irrigation department: Employees demand their salaries

The workers also threatened self-immolation if their demands are not met.

UBAURO: Ghotki irrigation workers organised a protest rally and started a token hunger strike on Sunday, to demand their salaries. Clerks, operators, watchmen and other workers claimed they have not been paid for the last 18 months and will protest until they receive their salaries. The workers also threatened self-immolation if their demands are not met.
