Encroaching on state land: CDA ready to raze illegal structures near sports complex
During a recent discussion between the senior members the QAUAA and Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ali Shah, it was revealed that despite paying for 1,709 acres, the university is still falling short of 450 acres of allotted land. This is due to the fact that 298 acres of the land is being illegally occupied and 152 acres, despite being allotted are yet to be handed over, a press release said.
The non-resolution of this important issue has created a lot of problems in terms of security and development work. Due to this issue, the premier higher education institution was unable construct a boundary wall.
