BNP-M holds medical camp in Khuzdar

Party leader says efforts are on to arrange more such camps

QUETTA: Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) leader Muhammad Akbar Mengal has said his party chief was trying to ensure provision of healthcare, education and other facilities to the people.

He said this while inaugurating a three-day free medical camp in Shah Noorani Sarona area of Khuzdar district on Wednesday. The camp has been organised in light of special directives by BNP-M chief Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal. Akbar Mengal, Dr Aziz Baloch, and Lal Jan were monitoring the camp.

As many as 900 patients were treated including 136 by senior eye specialists. Apart from this free medicine were also provided to the patients during the camp.

He demanded of the department concerned to take measures to arrange medical camps in respective rural areas of the province for ensuring provision of healthcare and other amenities to common men.

Akbar also appreciated the specialist doctors who were performing their professional duties in the areas and added that they had come to join free medical camp from various areas including Karachi and Balochistan.

Efforts were underway to arrange more free medical camps in other areas of the province for taking care of the public health, he added. A large number of people including women and children have reached the camp for treatment.

Khuzdar District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Muhammad Bakhsh Mengal, Dr Soomar Khan, Dr Muhammad Hanif, Dr Nazeer Ahmed, and others were present on the occasion.
