As first reported by Forbes, users took to Twitter to complain about the update that is causing cellular data outages.
Apple’s Twitter Support team has also been redirecting users to restart and update their carrier settings instead of offering any more help.
Thanks @Apple @AppleSupport for the Christmas present...since updating my iPhone to iOS 12.1.2 I can't access cellular data. I reset my device and now I can't activate it anymore. No Service. Your better fix this in an update soon! 😡

As a partial solution for all of you: sign up for iOS beta testing program https://t.co/49bLXL0MuM and update to 12.1.3 beta. This way you'll save the time until Apple will come with the solution. When Official 12.1.3 will be out, then you will be able to switch back to GA

We have very similar problem with an Iphone 7. Sent in for repair. Thought it was hardware issue ('no service' on iphone 7)

I don’t have the LTE issue but Face ID no longer works. My flashlight doesn’t work either and the camera takes forever to open up. It’s annoying.
