In a tweet, Maryam said one individual [Nawaz] had been sentenced four times. Terming it a case of “blind vengeance”, she emphasised that the former prime minister was the ultimate winner as no corruption had been proven against him.

Maryam reflected that the sentence will be over but her father’s honesty will live on. She said the burden of truth on the opposition will linger. “Power does not always last. It takes but a minute for fortunes to change. When an oppressor crosses all limits, he meets his end.”

She further questioned that how many times would the court accuse the same person.
“How many times will you target the same individual? How many punishments? How many jail terms? The government is haunted by Nawaz. Your days are numbered,” she tweeted.

Nawaz's sentence
The accountability court convicted deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Al Azizia and Hill Metal Establishment corruption reference and sentenced him to seven years imprisonment.
The court acquitted the PML-N supremo in the Flagship reference but imposed a fine of Rs1.5 billion. His sons, Hassan and Hussain, were declared absconders.
The verdict was announced by Judge Arshad Malik of Accountability Court No2. The court had reserved the verdict on Wednesday after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) concluded its final arguments on Tuesday.
