The accountability court will announce its verdict in the remaining two corruption references lodged by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against members of the Sharif family.
Meeting with party leaders ahead of the accountability court's verdict, Nawaz said he was not worried, adding that his conscience was clear as he has "not done anything wrong".
The former premier told party leaders that he was hopeful that justice would be served as he did not indulge in corruption or misuse of authority.

Senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal questioned the 'double standards' in the accountability process and asked why "offshore companies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders are considered legitimate, while the Sharif family is targetted in the name of accountability".

In compliance with the order of the Supreme Court, the accountability court is set to announce the verdict in Al Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investments references against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif today.
Nawaz arrived in Islamabad from Lahore on Sunday and met his younger brother and Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif at the Ministers’ Enclave.
Judge Muhammad Arshad Malik is expected to announce the judgement in the two references shortly, while security has been tightened around the judicial complex.
