K-P to challenge PHC suspension of interim laws governing ex-FATA
In a meeting with senior minister Atif Khan, Shahram Tarakai, Shakeel Khan and K-P government spokesperson Ajmal Wazir in Peshawar on Sunday, Mahmood said tourism, natural resources, hydro-electric power, agriculture and land computerization will be his government’s priority in the next five years.
On the mainstreaming of erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), the chief minister promised a practical mechanism to provide relief to the tribal districts. “Their suffering and problems will be mitigated expeditiously,” he said and directed provincial minister to chalk out proposals.

According to the press statement issued by CM’s office, the government plans to promote tourism as a dominate part of provincial earnings. He said K-P was seeing investments in the backdrop of CPEC and the government was focused facilitating businesses.
“The future of the province looks bright,” he said. “K-P will be integrated through road and communication.”
Mahmood emphasised on streamlining computerization of land as well. He was optimistic that the policy guideline would usher a new era of good governance and propsperity for the province.
