Hard Luck: Killed for demanding bet money

Police said the suspects had fled the scene when they reached there.

MIAN CHANNU: A man was killed and his two sons injured allegedly by two brothers for demanding money of a bet he had won on Saturday. According to details, Asmatullah and Asif had placed a bet on who could reach higher speed on a motorcycle in less time. On winning the bet, Asmatullah demanded the money but was allegedly gunned down Asif and his brother, Kashif. Asmatullah died on the spot. His sons – Naveed and Zeeshan – were injured. The two were taken to a nearby hospital.  Police said the suspects had fled the scene when they reached there.
