Crime: Sweeper injures two colleagues
The injured were taken to Jinnah Hospital, where they were reported to be out of danger.
LAHORE:
A sweeper on Saturday shot and injured a colleague and a security guard following an argument in Sattukatla. Police said that an argument between Al Habib Bank’s two sweepers, Usman Latif and Nadir Masih, over cleaning the area outside the branch got ugly. They said Latif got furious and took out a pistol. Irfan Mansha, one of the security guards rushed to stop him and was shot in the stomach. Masih, who was standing close by, was also hit. Latif then grabbed a motorbike and fled. The injured were taken to Jinnah Hospital, where they were reported to be out of danger. SHO Javaid Siddique of the Sattukatla police station said that police were looking for Latif.
