BAP slams past govt for neglecting people
Party information secretary says incumbent govt determined to serve masses
QUETTA:
Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) Information Secretary Chaudhry Shabir has said those who were criticising the incumbent government must look into their past and give details of their performance as to “what they have done for the people of Balochistan”.
He was talking to a delegation from Mastung led by Abdullah Bangulzai on Friday.
The secretary slammed previous governments for negligence over development projects. Owing to the failure in taking important decisions the people of Balochistan slipped into a state of economic deprivation, he lamented.
Hiring of special assistants infuriates opposition
He also said the administrative issues including sectarianism, lawlessness and corruption became the norm.
Shabir said provincial resources were not exploited to their right potential, which resulted in multiple challenges for the ruling government.
However, the incumbent government under the leadership of Chief Minister Jam Kamal is determined to take province towards lasting peace and prosperity, said Shabir. He stressed that the government was taking practical measures to take province out of deprivation.
Provision of health, education, and employment facilities are the prime focus of the government, he added. The secretary vowed to make earnest efforts for the prosperity and progress of Balochistan.
