Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will visit Pakistan in February next year, Federal Minister for Interior Fawad Chaudhry said on Thursday.

"According to tentative details, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will visit Pakistan in January, 2019," Fawad said while addressing a news briefing.

"The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman will visit the country in February, 2019," he added.

Fawad said the development comes following Prime Minister Imran Khan's telephonic interaction with the dignitaries over the phone during the last 24 hours.

The information minister further said that the federal Cabinet had today reviewed the measures related to austerity, finances and making travel convenient for overseas Pakistanis to the country.

Responding to a question, Fawad said an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, termed the largest ever foreign investment, will be finalised "this week".
