Interestingly, the frenzy did not just stick to fashion, because the three day extravaganza witnessed hair trends which gave us some serious hair goals in this winter season. Here is a list of a few of the things that promptly caught our attention at the Pantene Hum Bridal Couture Week.

Day 1 was all about the Pantene Hair Show and the gorgeous outfits for the segment were designed by Natasha Kamal and styled by Mehak Saeed. The hair spectacle featured eleven models walking the ramp on a performance by Zoe Viccaji. The renowned singer’s performance was a show stopper on its own. The show witnessed myriad hair styles that are easily achievable with Pantene hair care products. The products result in thicker, stronger hair in just 14 days that are bouncy, shiny and frizz free.

The Hair show was followed by the festive collection by Nilofer Shahid which was an iconic ode and a tribute to the legendary Mughal Empress Nur Jahan. From the astonishing colour pallet to the combination of traditional techniques over wearable ensembles, the entire collection was all about perfection.

Designer Aisha Imran’s Daastan-e-ishq, Emraan Rajput’s Surkhab and many other stunning ensembles were inspired by the grandeur of the Mughal era, reminiscent of its glory and opulence. The show stoppers of the day included the stunning Mawra Hocane, QYT, Mansha Pasha, Sumbul Iqbal, Sunita Marshall, Bilal Abbas Khan, Hareem Farooq, cast of Aangan, Sonya Hussyn and Ahsan Khan along with Gohar Rasheed and Qubra Khan.

However, the finale spot that won everyone’s hearts was the couture king HSY’s collection, Shah, which concluded the PHBCW ’18 on a high note. The collection stayed true to HSY’s design ethos by merging eastern influences into western silhouettes to create a one of a kind couture collection for the festive season.

Pantene as a brand, stood to its core, ‘strong is beautiful’ and successfully gave us some jaw dropping hair goals for thicker, stronger hair in its one of a kind Pantene Hair Show where various trendy hairstyles were showcased. From an all-time favourite, sleek fish tail wrapped with traditional gota which is a perfect hairstyle for a mayyun or a mehendi to a neatly parted tailored bun with adornments and hair accessories such as flowers were quite popular.

Long, flowy and open hair in sensuous waves were yet another favourite and looked subtly well with the heavy bridal outfits. Last but not the least, a high half pony tail with the rest of locks flowing in beautiful twirls looked chic and trendy!

Since Pantene is all about empowering women, it introduced a digital wall in their Pantene lounge where women described what strong means to them. The entire theme of the segment focused on lifting up women and helping them realise they are strong and beautiful in their own ways. It celebrated women who embody strength and beauty perfectly.
