Many competent people are unemployed and deserving talent is going to waste
KARACHI: Nowadays, unemployment is a very serious issue as people who are well qualified are not getting suitable jobs. If jobs are available, then either the pay offered is not good or the designation does not match the skillset.
Due to this, many competent people are unemployed and deserving talent is going to waste. Unemployment is then also leading to crime and other social problems. Institutions and organisations must adopt a fair recruitment policy and give remuneration packages according to the skills and academic qualification a person holds.
Unemployment can be curtailed by setting up more businesses and entrepreneurial ventures. More jobs will reduce poverty and improve the standard of living of the populace.
