QUETTA: Chief Minister Jam Kamal has lauded the Jhal Magsi Desert Jeep Rally, saying that such events portray a positive image of the province in the world.
Speaking at the culmination of the rally on Sunday, he said, “People from around the country came to watch the desert jeep rally in Balochistan, which has been depicting a positive image of our province.”
He said such activities showed that the people of Balochistan loved sports.
Bolan Jeep Rally kicks off
The thrilling rally concluded with Nawabzada Nadir Khan Magsi emerging as winner on the final day in Pre-period A category.
Babar Shah from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa clinched the second position, while Asif Faisal Chaudhry bagged third position.
Over 60 prominent drivers and adventurers from across the country participated in the jeep rally. A large number of people arrived to enjoy the race on the weekly holiday.
CM Kamal distributed trophies and cash prizes among the winners. He said that along with social development, the provincial government has been taking steps to foster sports activities in Balochistan.
