Pakistan hockey chief coach Touqeer Dar resigned from the role of chief coach keeping in mind team's dismal outing during the ongoing Hockey World Cup.
Pakistan played a total of four matches during the World Cup but were unable to bag even one victory.
They lost 1-0 to Germany and 5-1 to Netherlands in their group D matches, while a 1-1 draw was churned out against Malaysia.
However, even after such a bad show, they were allowed a chance to make it to the quarter-final courtesy a cross-over match against Belgium, however, the Men in Green were outclassed by their opponents in a 5-0 thrashing.
Earlier, Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) president Khalid Sajjad Khokhar had formed a four-member commission to investigate the reasons behind team's depressing performance.
The commission will report in 15 days.
