Cjp’s Protocol Officer: FIR registered against impersonator
MULTAN:
A case has been registered against a man in Gulgasht police station for impersonating as a protocol officer of the Chief Justice of Pakistan. Lahore High Court’s Multan Bench deputy registrar Pervez Khalid said he received a call from the man saying that he was in Multan and needed him to make arrangements for his residence during his stay. He said never before had a protocol officer called in this manner and asked them to make arrangements for their accommodation without a prior notice. He said the man identified himself as Abdul Hameed. Gulghast police said they were conducting raids and would soon arrest the man.
