ISLAMABAD: A man was allegedly shot dead by his former business partner over a property dispute in the Nilore area on Thursday. Aftab Khan, 40, a native of Chirah village, came to a marriage ceremony at 3:30am, where he had a heated exchange with his former partner, Waris Sarwar. This led to a scuffle, during which Waris shot him and escaped. Aftab was shifted to a local hospital where he died of his injuries. The police said Aftab and Waris were property consultants in Chirah, but they developed a dispute over the shop’s ownership.
