Family Feud: Man killed in Haripur

Family tried to negotiate land dispute but couldn't reach a resolution.

HARIPUR:

A man was allegedly shot dead by his maternal uncle over a property dispute on Friday. Muhammad Shaukat Khan lodged an FIR at Kot Najibullah Police Station accusing his uncle, Muhammad Nawaz, of killing his younger brother, Muhammad Waqar Khan.

He said that his family owned a piece of land, but Nawaz had claimed ownership of the same property. The family had tried to negotiate on many occasions, but a resolution could not be reached. The dispute resulted in a quarrel between Waqar and Nawaz on Friday, during which Nawaz opened fire on him, causing severe injuries.
