How can we smile when it's hard even to cry: Nawaz Sharif
The former premier was asked outside the accountability court as to why he had been silent
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif has said that it has become harder for him and his family to cry, let alone smile.
"What can we say about smiling, we can't even cry if we want to," Nawaz told reporters outside Islamabad's accountability court on Tuesday. The former premier was asked as to why he had been silent.
Last week, Nawaz was not allowed to vote in by-election after he forgot to bring his identification card to the polling station.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo had arrived only minutes before the closing of polling at the Government College of Technology on Lahore’s Rail Road with party leader Maryam Nawaz, where party supporters had gathered to welcome him.
PML-N supporters chanted slogans in Nawaz’s favour and showered his vehicle with flowers.
Notwithstanding, the former premier forgot his ID card at home, as a result, he was not permitted to vote by polling staff.
