Teenager allegedly raped by landlords in Khanewal

Culprits also kidnapped the girl’s parents so they could not file a case against them

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by two local landlords in Khanewal, Express News reported on Monday.

A police official of Kacha Khuh police station said  victim P*, a resident of 3/9-R Village, was working in her home when local landlords Haider and Ghulam barged in and abducted her.

The accused took the victim to Dera where they allegedly raped her.

The culprits also kidnapped the girl’s parents and locked them in a room so that they could not file a case against them and take P* to hospital for medical examination.

Meanwhile, a villager informed Khanewal DPO Rana Masoom about the incident. Based on the tip, the DPO ordered Kacha Khuh SHO to recover the victims and arrest the culprits.


The police raided the hideout and recovered the victims. However, the accused managed to escape. The police have registered a case against both suspects and shifted the girl to hospital for a medical examination.

Earlier, a woman was abducted and raped in Faisalabad.

Police said that victim R*, a resident of Railway Colony Mohallah, Nishatabad, lodged a complaint in which she stated that Muhammad Shafique was a friend of her husband. She stated that the accused used to visit their home and promised that he would arrange a job for her in a factory.

The victim narrated that on the day of the incident, Shafique called her and said that they had to go to the factory to meet someone for the job. The woman maintained that she reached Lorry Ada where the accused was waiting for her on a motorcycle.

She said the culprit took her to a house where he and his accomplices Muhammad Sarwar, Muhammad Muneer and an unidentified man gang-raped her.
