Remembering 150 lives lost

Letter December 11, 2018
This year, four years after the attack I hope the new prime minister also remembers this day

KECH: Pakistan will always remember the day when 150 people, including 134 students, were martyred on the premises of their academic institution. It was the Army Public School where precious souls left this world, a few years ago.

This day is considered among the worst in the country’s recent history, perhaps the worst militant attack in Pakistan. A number of innocent students lost their lives along with their dreams. Till date, the nation mourns these tragic deaths. The nation can never forget the December 16, 2014 attack in Peshawar.

This year, four years after the attack I hope the new prime minister also remembers this day. Schools and others educational institutions will pay their respects to the innocent martyrs.
