ISLAMABAD:
Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar invited Moroccan businessmen on Monday to invest in Pakistan’s tourism sector as the country was blessed with beautiful natural scenery and landscapes where tourism could be promoted in a befitting manner through an effective strategy.

Moroccan investors in collaboration with local companies could invest in Pakistan’s tourism sector, especially in the northern areas, which would steer the tourism industry of the country, he said while exchanging remarks with Moroccan Ambassador Mohamed Karmoune.

The minister pointed out that there were several potential areas where Moroccan companies could invest for mutual benefit of the two countries. “The government is committed to enhance tourism, trade and economic cooperation with Morocco as well as initiate joint ventures,” he emphasised.
