In another case of abuse against domestic servants, a 14-year-old housemaid was allegedly tortured and then threw her near a bus stop in Sargodha after her health took a turn for the worse on Monday.

Tanzeela, the victim, was sent by her parents to work at Saeed Niazi's home a year ago, who is a member of the district council, Express News reported.

For months she was barred from having any kind of contact with her family or even meet them.

A few days ago, the family of local council subjected Tanzeela to brutal torture.

According to the victim's mother, Niazi along with his wife, who has been identified as Uzma, first tortured her daughter and when Tanzeela's health worsened after the beating they threw her off near a bus stop.

Tanzeela claims she was not fed for several days as well as being beaten with sticks and pipes.

The alleged victim went on to say that the employer's family would pour boiling hot water on her and also burn her with a hot iron.

Moreover, a case has now been registered against the accused persons with authorities taking notice of the incident.
