Overcharging: 10 shopkeepers fined

A fine of Rs5,000 each was imposed along with a warning that future violations would result in imprisonment.

FAISALABAD: As many as 10 shopkeepers found guilty of profiteering, overcharging and not displaying rate lists were fined on Thursday. According to details, special price control magistrate, Riaz Husain Anjum, conducted raids at Jhang Road, Shadaab Colony and Gulishan Colony and found 10 shopkeepers involved in profiteering and overcharging. A fine of Rs5,000 each was imposed along with a warning that future violations would result in imprisonment.
