Prime Minister Imran Khan said that relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are based on mutual cooperation and support and the bilateral ties will continue to bolster, Radio Pakistan reported on Sunday.
The statement comes to felicitate the UAE leadership on the country’s 47th National Day. The premier also said that the development, prosperity and good governance prevailed in the Emirate in just 47 years.
Relations between the two countries have changed into a long term strategic and economic partnership by improving bilateral ties in all sectors, PM Imran added.
He also expressed his good wishes and sentiments on behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan to the visionary leadership of UAE while praying for its development and prosperity.
Last month, Premier Imran made his second visit to the UAE after assuming the office. The leaderships of the two counties resolved to strengthen bilateral trade and economic ties, besides fostering cooperation to deal with transnational organised crime, including money laundering, drug and human trafficking.
