The accused, they added, have been booked under Sections 202, 201, 419, 420 and 364 of the law.
Earlier this month, the top court ordered the additional advocate general of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to complete the probe into the alleged killing.
Man killed, woman escapes 'honour' killing in Kohistan
In May 2012, it was reported that five women in Kohistan, four of whom were filmed ‘singing and dancing’ with men at a wedding party, were killed after a tribal jirga ordered their execution.
On October 20, the directorate of human rights K-P took notice of an ‘honour killing’ incident where a man was killed and a woman escaped in Lower Kohistan district. The officials directed the district police to provide security to the woman.
The accused in the case, Muhammad Uzair, killed Fazal Jameel, who, he claimed, was having an illicit affair with his wife, Shaheela.
