Electoral expenditure: ECP extends deadline till Nov 29

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday issued another notice to 43 political parties to submit details of their expenditure and donations received during the general election campaign by November 29.

Earlier, the ECP had issued notices to 66 parties to submit their details by November 18. However, only 23 parties managed to do so.

“Election symbols of all those political parties which do not submit the required details will be withdrawn,” warned the ECP.

The notices have been issued to Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl, Balochistan Awami Party, Balochistan National Party-Awami, Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid, Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Nazaryati (PTI-N), PTI-Gulalai, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan and several other parties.
