Performing arts: Music academy at Mehran Arts Council

The Arts Council deputy director will collaborate with musicians to develop the academy’s curriculum.

HYDERABAD: The Sindh culture department set up a music academy, which will commence in two months, at the Mehran Arts Council, Latifabad. The programme aims to train young people in vocal and instrumental music and the courses include a programme on indigenous instruments. The Arts Council deputy director, Roshan Ali Kanasro, will collaborate with musicians to develop the academy’s curriculum.
