Tribunal summons Suri on Nov 19

The case pertains to rigging allegations in NA-256

QUETTA: The election tribunal of Balochistan High Court has ordered National Assembly Speaker Qasim Khan Suri to appear before the court on November 19 to record his statement in the case pertaining to rigging allegations over his victory in NA-265.

During the proceedings on Saturday, petitioner Haji Lashkari Khan Raisani and former senator Rozi Khan Kakar appeared before the tribunal headed by Justice Abdullah Baloch to ink their statement.

Lashkari’s lawyer Riaz Ahmed, Kakar’s lawyer Agha Nazeer and Suri’s lawyer Kamran Murtaza appeared before the court and completed their arguments. Later, the court adjourned the hearing till Monday.
