LAHORE: It is indeed alarming if a police officer is abducted in the federal capital and is taken to other country only to be brutally killed. Had the relevant authorities not remained indifferent to a situation like this, the whole episode of the kidnapping and murder of SP Dawar could have been avoided. Now the authorities should take stringent steps to make the security situation better.
