The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) designated November 15 as the International Day for Tolerance to "promote respect, acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world's cultures, our forms of expression and ways of being human.”

Pakistan is a country where intolerance based on different beliefs, views and ideas rears its ugly head often. The Express Tribune spoke to seventh graders about what tolerance means to them, how they would promote tolerance and what they would do if they were the prime minister of the country.
