Procedure notified: Partridge hunting from Nov 25

Hunting will only be allowed in designated areas

PESHAWAR: The partridge hunting season in the province will commence from November 25, the government notified on Wednesday.

Per the procedure announced by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Wildlife chief conservator, shooting partridges including See-see partridge, Black partridge, Grey partridge and Chakur partridge, will be permissible in the province from Sunday, November 25, to Sunday, February 3, 2019.

However, hunting will only be allowed in areas designated as game reserves, private game reserves and community game reserves. Hunting in protected areas will remain off limits during the season. Moreover, hunting shall only be permissible on Sundays and gazetted holidays.
