Somali pirates: ‘Hostages to be released next week’

Burney said arrangements for their release have been completed.

KARACHI: The Somali pirates will release the hostages by June 12 and by June 20 they will return home, Ansar Burney told Express News from the Suez. He said arrangements for their release have been completed. An operation centre has been set up at the Suez Canal and will start working from Wednesday. Burney said the hostages will be released on the planned date if there are no unforeseen circumstances. After their release, they will be put on a ship to an undisclosed port.
