LAHORE: The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) will observe a strike on Wednesday (today) to express solidarity with the lawyers injured in Sahiwal on June 8, 2007. The strike call was given by the Punjab Bar Council. LBA President Shehzad Hassan Shaikh recalled that the lawyers were taking out a peaceful procession in Sahiwal, when the police officials threw kerosene oil on them and caused a fire.
