PESHAWAR: The provincial chapter of the apex anti-corruption watchdog has arrested two people for alleged embezzlements in the clean drinking water scheme.

The K-P chapter of the NAB produced two suspects before the accountability court on Thursday.

Officials of the anti-corruption watchdog told the court that they had arrested Ideal Hydrates CEO Muhammad Ramzan Shaikh and a private bank employee Asghar Khan for causing a loss worth millions to the national exchequer.
