The loans incurred now will have to be paid back by the country over a period of time

KARACHI: For the past four years, CPEC has remained one of the most debated topics in the mainstream media. Governments favoured or at times criticised the projects initiated under the same. Yet, regardless of it all, Pakistan seeking monetary assistance has remained a concern for many.

The loans incurred now will have to be paid back by the country over a period of time, however the repayment at any point of time will take a toll on the economy, more so because governments have repeatedly failed at devising a mechanism to resolve the issue of loans and a repayment formula.
