PESHAWAR: The government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) is introducing a strong local government system for mainstreaming erstwhile FATA and achieving grass-root level development targets to bring an end to the decades’ long deprivation from the people of the tribal region.

This was stated by K-P Minister for Local Government Shahram Khan Tarakai while talking to a delegation of Department For International Development (DFID) in Peshawar on Monday.

Secretary Local Government, Zahir Shah and members of the delegation were also present on the occasion.
