Buzdar says PTI to steer country out of crisis

Stresses need for joint efforts for progress and development

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would surely pull Pakistan out of the crises and the country would move forward on the path of progress and development under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Speaking to various delegations called on him on Sunday, the chief minister said the dream of happiness would soon be fulfilled. “The PTI’s government is following the agenda of the prosperity of the people of Pakistan. The government is moving ahead with the commitment of the country's economic stability,” he said.

Buzdar highlighted that Prime Minister Khan was working day and night for the greater national interest. “Khan will never disappoint the nation and will come up to their expectations. However, everyone has to play their role proactively for the development of the country,” he maintained.

The chief minister said the government would utilise all its energy and resources to make ‘New Pakistan’ a prosperous and developed state. He underscored that provision of basic facilities to masses and immediate solution of their problems is the priority of PTI government.

“We are successfully heading towards the completion of the 100-Day Agenda of PM Khan,” he said, adding that the people would soon witness positive change in Pakistan after successful completion of 100-Day Agenda. Buzdar said it was the mission of the PTI government to establish a rule of law and transparency. The government would leave no stone unturned to safeguard the interests of public and for their better future. He claimed that concrete steps have been taken for the welfare of the common man in a short period of time.

Meanwhile, on the direction of Punjab chief minister Sheikhupura deputy commissioner found the young street vendor, whose bananas were looted during a protest rally a couple of days ago, and provide him financial assistance along with payment for his bananas. The young vendor from Sheikhupura was selling bananas during a protest when a mob attacked his donkey cart and looted his entire stock. In a social media, the boy was seen requesting protesters not to loot his only source of income by they did not turn an ear to his appeals. The video of this incident got viral on social media in which forlorn and helplessness of poor boy was heart-wrenching.
