Mir Abdul Karim Nosherani, the central leader of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), claims that his party will win the local bodies elections by a huge margin.

Addressing party workers in district Kharan on Sunday, Nosherani said the previous government did not fulfil the promises made to the public.

Municipal Committee Chairman Mir Nooruddin Nosherani, District Council Member Sardar Zada Shahik, Balochistan National Party-Awami (BNP-A) leader Maqbool Baloch Haji and other top leaders of the party were present on the occasion.

Nosherani said that BAP contested the general elections in alliance with the BNP-A, the National Party and the Al-Fatah Panel, and the people of Kharan voted for them in big numbers.

BAP-led govt vows to maintain unity

But, he alleged, a conspiracy was hatched to defeat the alliance in Kharan and force turncoats upon the people. “And such people have done nothing for the people of Kharan,” he said.

The BAP leader said his party had carried out record development in the province, and would form government in the province in the next tenure as well.

He said BAP was getting support from everywhere in Kharan, and would fully participate in the upcoming local bodies elections. He expressed determination that the party would defeat the opposition by a huge margin.

“People of Kharan have always supported BAP and will continue to do so in the future,” he maintained.

On winning the local bodies elections, BAP would appoint people’s representatives in consultations with local leaders and try its best to come up to the people’s expectations, he added.
