Ayyan Ali has been surrounded by controversies for over three years now. The 25-year-old was recently issued a non-bailable warrant by a special court following the ongoing money laundering trial.

After years of silence, the model has finally spoken up about the issue publicly. Taking to her social media accounts, the model slammed trolls and announced she will be keeping fans posted on all proceedings.

"Due to my health issues and mental health therapies I wasn’t able to lead my cases the way I wanted to before," she tweeted. "I have changed my lawyers already and I am changing my lawyers in all my other ongoing cases as well! All my cases now will be from a fresh start."

She went on to address the 'allegations' about money laundering circling on social media.

“Before putting such huge allegations on me like money laundering without any proof and making me go through these horrible situations for past four years, I just want to ask something," she commented.

She then shared one of the videos of the fated day, in which Mushtaq Ahmed and former Interior Minister, Rehman Malik's brother Khalid Malik can be seen.

"As per this airport video of the former President’s PA (personal assistant) Mushtaq Ahmed and Rehman Malik’s brother, Khalid Malik was there with me in Islamabad Airport’s Rawal Lounge. Why they were not arrested and why are they not mentioned in my FIR? Why were they not the part of any investigation?" she asked.

"My personal life has not done any damage to my motherland Pakistan and the people of my country," she continued. "People who thought it was a joke before saying whatever they wanted to utter from their mouths will get all their answers now on!"

She concluded, stating, "But my answers will make much more sense than their illogical fake rumours and allegations!"

A special court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Model Ayyan Ali on October 22 and directed authorities concerned to produce her before the court on November 10 in connection with the currency smuggling case.

The accused has appointed a new counsel replacing Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sardar Latif Khan Khosa with Sarfraz Mathew Advocate. Mathew presented his credentials to the court in last week's court proceedings.

Her new counsel also requested abstention for his client on medical grounds, which was rejected by the court.

Customs prosecutor Ameen Feroz said the accused has avoided 33 hearings in the last year and a half and medical certificate produced today is also a lie. He prayed the court to initiate legal action by declaring her an absconder.

The model's counsel assured the court that the accused will appear before it on the next hearing, fixed for November 10.

Ali was arrested at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto International Airport on March 14, 2015 while boarding a flight to the United Arab Emirates carrying $506,800 without the permission of the State Bank of Pakistan.
