Arjun Rampal's mother passes away

Funeral of Gwen Rampal was held in Mumbai on Sunday evening

Bollywood star Arjun Rampal paid his last respects to his mother Gwen after she lost her battle against cancer on Sunday. Many celebrities from the fraternity attended the funeral and condoled the Rock On!! at the funeral held yesterday evening, reported Hindustan Times.

Arjun's ex wife Mehr Jessia along with their daughters Mahikaa and Myra were also spotted saying their final goodbyes. The actor's rumoured girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades was also seen by his side.

A few months ago, the Roy star had shared a video on his Twitter handle highlighting Gwen's fight against breast cancer. He said, "Cancer is becoming more and more epidemic these days. My mother underwent a treatment for it and was cured. But 10 months later, cancer metastasized into her lungs and then with the help of my friend, we went to Champali Maud Foundation research centre in Lisbon."

Ending the video on an emotional note, Gwen spoke about her experience and said that she was still strong.
